Yokohama

I made a bigger starting player token from a vinyl stencil based on a ship token used in later versions of the game. I then attached it to a clear acrylic circle. All precision cuts for this project were handled by a smart cutter.
I designed this token tray, deck sleeves, and the "Multi-Deck Box" using a die-cut generator from Deck_In_A_Box. The tray fits snug inside its lid so as not to waste table space while the tray is in use.
I grabbed some online patterns and gave them colour for each deck sleeve. When cards are shuffled, the sleeves can be used during gameplay to keep decks together. The "multi-deck box" acts as a redundancy to carry the sleeves and prevent cards from falling out inside the game box during travel.
The game Yokohama came with a large quantity of token varieties. The traditional way to separate components in game boxes is with small plastic bags, often one for each component type. The same goes with the four decks of cards included.
